Hi, I’m Kristina Gomez—most folks know me as Tina. I’m the heart and hands behind Tina Marie Designs, where I’ve been designing and beading custom hat bands since 2017. What began as a personal hobby—just me, a small loom, and a single hat band I made for myself—has grown into a full-blown passion that connects tradition, identity, and artistry.

Each of my hand-beaded hat bands tells a story. Drawing inspiration from Native American beadwork, rodeo life, and my own creative instincts, every design blends tradition with individuality. From the first sketch on paper (or my phone!) to the final bead, I pour heart and soul into each piece—often between 3,500 to 4,100 beads, depending on the design and length.

My journey started humbly, with one customer a year. Today, Tina Marie Designs proudly sponsors Rodeo Queens and outfits rodeo athletes across the country. My husband even carved me a custom wooden loom to keep up with the demand—proof that this craft has become a way of life for our whole family.

What makes this work so special isn’t just the beads—it’s the joy of seeing someone light up when they wear a design that speaks to them. Whether you’re in the arena or on the ranch, each band is more than just an accessory—it’s a wearable piece of art that carries heritage, grit, and heart.
